The LUT Society completed its move to
a new home at Rufford and expects to move into the new storage
unit shortly, which has accommodation for at least 12 buses,
an increase of 50% over our previous unit. The move was
sanctioned following the expiry of the lease on Burscough and
the probable increase in rent which the Society felt it could
not afford. The new unit will be stocked on a 'rent per bus'
basis that should prove more viable for the Society. We would
like to thank the Wigan Transport Group for their valuable
assistance during the move.
