On 31st August 2008 the LUT Society commemorated 50 years of the SLT and 50 years since the introduction of the Leyland Atlantean by organising a tour of former trolleybus routes using a preserved Atlantean.

6 members braved the cold to attend our first regular working day and carried out minor maintenance on one of our vehicles. Working days are held on the 2nd Sunday in each month and members and visitors are always welcome.
