SOUTH LANCASHIRE TRANSPORT 1901-1958

This company had been operating trams since 1901 and was acquired by LUT in 1906. It continued to operate trams and trolleybuses as a subsidiary of LUT until 1958 when trolleybus operation ceased and the company was wound up.
